6 months

yesterday my boyfriend and i had our (ok i know it's kind of stupid) six-months-anniversary. it's not really a long time but i simply had to share this with you cause those six months were the happiest i've ever had in my life and he changed it completely. this man is the most wonderful person you can imagine. i'm feeling healthier and way more relaxed since i'm with him. he just teaches me to not take everything so seriously and to not worry about every little thing.

so yesterday my man suddenly stood in front of my door with six roses in his hand - one for each month. i love him with all my heart!

things that make me happy

each day i feel blessed to wake and see the people and things i care for and love. there is so so much i am thankful for. i appreciate everything i have and for all experiences i've made so far. i am scared of the future cause i don't know what's waiting for me around the corner. but i try to enjoy every minute, every second of my life. i am glad that my family and friends are healthy and happy and as long as they are: i am too.

as i am a freelance writer and photographer i have the chance to meet different people every day.
most of them are kids because lots of events take place in schools, kindergartens, zoos and dance academys. i am fascinated by those little faces, how they act, what they say and how honest and alive they are. they're all unique and it's always a blast working with them.

 

halloween weekend

since i was eleven halloween is one of my favourite days of the year. i like the big pumpkins, the scary decorations,  lots of sweets and blood orange juice. the last three years my best friend and i always arranged a halloween party with costumes and all but this year i changed plans. my boyfriend and i stayed at home, watched horror movies, gave candy to kids and ate a great pumpkin cake!!!

visiting my friend sandra is always fun cause her one and a half year-old son paolo is the most hilarious boy you can imagine. this week i went to sandra's place and we took pictures of her pregnant belly in her garden. she's already excited cause she'll give birth to a babygirl in the mid of november and paolo is going to get a little sister. i think he already feels something's about to happen. he always kisses his mom's belly like he wanted to say "i'll care for you as soon as you're there"...

a big part of my heart belongs to ireland. nine years ago i watched a documentary about the county, the people and culture. i completely fell in love and lost my heart to the "green island". i almost forced my dad to go there with me. so we travelled to amazing galway eight years ago. ireland was like i imagined it to be and i brought lots of sweets and cards and leprechauns back home with me. this year in march i wanted to go there again but i couldn't because of too much work. and guess what... in april i fell in love with this handsome guy who is now my lovely boyfriend and is half irish. is that destiny or what? his mother's from ireland/cork. in november we'll visit his uncles and i'm already excited going back to this beautiful country again.

on a documentary about irish people and pubs i heard that song for the first time and searched it on youtube for ages. couple of weeks ago i stumbled upon it. enjoy!
